What if your flight got cancelled, and you were stranded away from home?

What if the only option to get back home was going to cost you a fortune, or take you several days to fly?

In short, what do you do when life throws seemingly impossible situations at you?

This is what happened to me last week while in Chicago. A few hours before takeoff, my flight with Frontier Airlines suddenly cancelled. No explanation. And no way to make it right.

But then some interesting things unfolded.

I think this story will show that sometimes even in very difficult situations, there just may be a silver lining after all.
